LabCCS has a clear, intuitive and responsive interface designed to make the task of managing your sample collections as easy as possible. The software is divided into 4 basic sections/screens :
- The Search screen
- The Storage screen
- The Properties screen
- The Lists screen
Searching for Samples
(The Labccs Search screen)
The Search screen allows you to construct simple or complex Boolean searches on ANY of the user-defined sample or collection fields. You can also search on Location, Date Created & Created By fields, which are auto-populated for every sample.

A clear graphical representation of Storage Space

The Storage screen displays a graphical representation of the user configured storage facilities. Each grid cell will show a summary of the sample data stored in a specific location. Users can navigate between storage facilities using the tree menu on the left.
Cell background colours show if a sample/item is associated with a list and there are a number of Right-Click options which allow users to get more information about the sample or move the sample to another location.

Review and edit all sample data

The Labccs Properties screen displays the full set of data stored for each sample record. Where users need to store large amounts of data for each sample, the data fields can be grouped together in “sections”. A list of sections is shown in the left hand panel of the Storage screen.
From the Properties screen, you can edit the sample data or review the audit history of a sample You can also navigate to the next/previous storage location or search result by using the navigation arrows in the menu bar.

Inventory list management
The Labccs Lists screen
Labccs has a powerful list creation and management function which will allow users to define and configure multiple different types of list for use in a wide range of specific workflow processes. The Lists screen displays a list of Lists. Lists are used to create a group of samples and to assign a set of permissions or actions to that set of samples – for example “Pick lists”, Stock take lists, Discrepancy lists, Sample reservation lists, etc.
